Chair inspired by Patricia Urquiola's mastery of material selection and humanist elements along with Virgil Abloh's latest work for Nike where he invites the consumer to look past the final product into the process.
Finalizing the project involves revamping the proposed fabric and system for upholstering as well as sanding and finishing the wooden frame.

As designers we learn to solve problems mainly by sketching at them. But that doesn't really work with light. It especially doesn't work when you're exploring the interplay between light and materials to create novel effects. The only way to do that is through hands on experimentation which makes it a truly rewarding experience. Sketching only comes in to the picture after the essence of the project is determined. Then it can fill in the rest of the details but only after the lighting effect has been perfected through trial and error.
